Okay although in the passive voice, in my opininion it should be the simple present tense.

What do you advise? Please. Can you also tell me why you think so? Thanks

There are two right answers depending on whether you want to speak of a current fact, or the history leading up to the present situation.
"...which is supported..." (current fact).
"...which has been supported..." (recent history).
