Would you please check and correct these sentences or suggest better ones?
1. I am taking a leave/break as we are expecting/having baby number 2 next week. (OK).
2. In your absence, we will try to bear up <strike>as/</strike> until you come back, without hiring someone.
3-1. We give a discount on a group <strike>(which is)</strike> of 20 or more.
3-2. We give a discount on a group of 20 or more people <strike>more than 20 people including 20.</strike>
4. [Looking at a speeding car] You won't live long if you're in that kind of hurry. I wonder <strike>/question</strike> where he's going so fast.
5. I wonder/question if you fully understand the risk. (Wonder is OK. I think it sounds more natural to use whether instead of if) when the verb is question).
6. You have to repeat this semester. You've got F's <strike>at/</strike> on/in all your classes/subjects.
7. Jane came back home weeping. There must be something bad with her!
(I'm not sure what this means).
8. Jane came back home weeping. She must<strike>/should</strike> have had something bad in school. (You need to clarify this. To have something bad can mean to eat something that is spoiled).
