Grab=impress, but also=has an effect on
Does it really has two meanings? Especially the second meaning. I really confused if it is used in the aspect of affection or the effect or the impact on something?

The basic meaning of grab is to seize or grasp suddenly. To impress someone can be called grabbing his/her attention. How does that grab you? means are you impressed? or What do you think about that? This is a slang or colloquial use.
