Dear Teachers,

1.- Did you come home safely last night?
- Did you go home safely last night?

- Which sentence is right?

2. If you’re finished here.
- This means “If you have finished everything here”, right?

3. I’m done with this.
- This means “I have finish this”, right?

4. - Are you understanding?
- Don’t you get that?

-Which sentence is right?

5. Does “look out!” mean “watch out!”?

6. He’s beating the hell out of me.
- What does this mean?

Thanks a lot to Teachers.

Ponpoco does a great job answering posts. I'll just add a couple of comments.
2. "If you are finished here" is part of a sentence. For example:
If you are finished here I'll use the copier now.
5. Watch out! and Look out! are basically the same. They are warnings.
