Dear Teachers,

1.When I was young/little/a child I lived in a small house in the hometown, Tan Binh District. I had to move/go to the city to have a better life, because I think there's no place great like the city.

2.In the past , I can remeber my house was in the suburb. There weren't any sofas on the floor. The yard outside was not very bigbut there were a very beautiful flower garden and a big vegetable garden on the left of my house. I often jumped rope/skipped with friends in the yard. There was a ricefield/paddy field behind the house. There were many tall trees outside. You can have a fantastic view from my house.

- When do you get back to US?
- When will you go back to Canada?

To improve paragraph 2 and make a better composition, don't overuse "there" and rewrite in a more active style. Here's one way to do it:

I often jumped rope with friends in the yard. A rice paddy lay just behind the house. Many tall trees surrounded the yard. I had a fantastic view from my house.
