"She'll be home now."

Does this sentence sound OK? I found this type of definition of "will" in my dictionary...only near the bottom of the whole definition. I wondered then, it might suggest that this usage is rarely heard in actual conversations. Am I right?

Watch this: people will use will this way to indicate that they expect a condition with high certainty. :) She'll be home now, means that the speaker expects his mom (?) to be at home or to have arrived home now with near certainty. We use will this way often.

Thanks for your comment, dan!
This type of "will" is quite natural in Spanish and German, so I thought the English version of it was influenced by them.:D Turned out to be wrong.
