Is there any difference between "I like this sport" and "I like this sports"? As fas as I know, "sports" is more common than "sport" and in some expressions, only "sports" is used, right?
Please explain,
Thanks

"I like this sport." is correct. ( "this" and "sport" are singular)
"I like these sports." is correct.( "these" and "sports" are plural)
"I like this kind of sports." is correct.( "this" and "kind" are singular; "sports" is the object of the preposition "of")
