When someone says something like:
"I'll have to humbly decline your offer."
Does that imply anything in any way beyond what is on the surface? Such as, what ever it is that was offered requires much more talent than the person has thus the statement was made? Basically, does this sentence above have a hidden agenda or no? Can anyone use this phrase?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
