hi ..sir..
first of all i wud say i m very grateful for your teaching

like if we want you to take some work from somebody then we say :-
make him/her do this work..


and my question is
but if i say i want you to scare somebody and can i say like this:-

make him scare
or
make him scared

which would be the right one..
with present verb or past perfect verb

thank you so much for your helpMake him scared, is an odd expression. We would rather say, Scare him. This is the form: Do (to) him. Like frighten him, hurt him, pay him, lift him, heal him, tickle him. These are among the hundreds of standard transitive verbs--the workhorses of English verbs.
