Hello everybody.
Here's an excerpt from a visual basic programming book I've been reading:
" A number of talented professionals at Microsoft Press guided this book through both calm and quickening waters. Casey Doyle initiated the revision and connected me with (the) dedicated programmers, testers, and editors on (the) Visual Basic team, who commented on the programs and instructions in each lesson."
My question here is why the, not a or null article, in the brackets?
