Teachers, please prrofread these entenses for me , thanks

1. Do you want the detail of my friend's? So that you can transfer the information to her.

2. I was wearing contacts in the exams, and i couldn't the clock put up on the front wall since my contacts ain't accurate, i put my watch in front of me but i accidentally put it upside down, i misread 10:45 as 10:15. I was so shocked when they said ' time's up '

The exam was supposed to finish at 10:45. If anyone of you could imagine reading the a quarter TO as a quarter FROM when the watch is upside down.

Could anyone proofread or give an alternative of those sentences. Thanks

Could anyone proofread or give an alternative of those sentences. Thanks1. Do you want the inside information on my friend so you can repeat the information to her? ...so you can relay the information to her?

2. I was wearing contacts in the exam, and I couldn't see the clock on the front wall since my contacts aren't accurate, so I put my watch in front of me. But I accidentally put it upside down, and I misread 10:45 as 10:15. I was so shocked when they said, "Time's up."

Now, I hope you don't expect anyone to believe this story. A watch that is set to 10:45 can be misread as 3:15 when turned upside down, not as 10:15. A watch that can be misread as 10:15 when upside down is really set at 4:45.

Have fun.

To Dan, I know, the story was a little bit too far-fetched but that is a true story !!!!!

The difference is i didn't bother to look at the " hour needle " ( i don't know what it is called but could you kindly tell me what it is called? " I just looked at the minute needle, that's why i misread it as 15 past. ><>< ashamed

Back to number one, the bit I was asking mainly is whether or not it should be

Do you want the detail of my friend's?.............

OR

Do you want the detail of my friend?.............

I remember the double possessive is correct here, since i have posted a question here before, but my friend ( probably too ignorant in English >< joking ) argued with me, so i want professional evidence for this ^^

But I am 100% detail of my friend's is the right one. Right? ^^

PS> I guessed you must have laughed hysterically when you first saw the watch incident, and I don't blame you ^^ Since I have been teased by my mates ever since. >< poor me

My friend's book = the book of my friend's
His mother's coat = the coat of his mother's
Her dog's collar = that collar of her dog's
Regarding the watch story, it did have "the ring of truth" to it, but it also seemed a bit unlikely. And yes, it is funny. Too bad it happened to you.

The needles on a watch are called hands. The big hand is the minute hand, and the little hand is the hour hand. The needle that marks the seconds is simply called the second hand. (On a Mickey Mouse watch, they are really hands.)
