Teacher in Cancun

I am an American living in Cancun and I teach Conversational English to Taxi Drivers and Sales people.
While I did not teach professionaly in America I enjoy teaching here in Mexico.
Here is my questions;
1. I DESPERATLEY need help finding websites that will help me better teach my adult students. I am tired of "Googling" and then spending hours going through sites that arenīt free. What (if any) websites helped you get lists of Verbs, Adjectives, Vocabulary, etc.
2. In my classes we donīt really use books, they are learning to speak not read or write, (just yet). What was the hardest thing for you to learn? (ie: Verbs past, Vocabulary, Phonics, etc.)
3. What should I do or not do to be a better Teacher to my Mexican student? I want them to learn Phonics and I am under pressure by my employer (Syndicato de Taxistas) to teach them quickly. I want to be firm, but fun and understanding with a little bit of compassion too.
A little personal note. I am a great teacher but a lousy student. I speak very little Spanish. I have not gone to school for Spanish and honestly I never have time. I have learned much very quickly form my Mexican friends and family.
Thanks for your thoughts.
