Please tell me the difference.
1. I sent a file to IBM listing cartons.
2. I sent a file listing cartons to IBM.
3. I sent a file to a warehouse listing cartons.
Thanks.
I think it would be less ambiguous if you wrote it as:-
"I sent to IBM a file listing cartons."

Please tell me the difference.
1. I sent a file to IBM listing cartons.
2. I sent a file listing cartons to IBM.
3. I sent a file to a warehouse listing cartons.

Position determines importance. The more important phrase comes first.
1. I sent a file to IBM listing cartons.
2. I sent a file listing cartons to IBM.
3. I sent a file to a warehouse listing cartons. (This sentence is awkward. The distance between a file and its modifier, listing cartons, makes us wonder whether the file listed cartons or the warehouse listed cartons).
