Hi,
Please check these sentences and correct them.
1. Try as/though I might, I can never seem to get this window open all the way.
2. (As) Much as/though I need a new coat, I haven't enough money to buy one.
3. How long will it be take? / [At most twenty minutes.], [Twenty minutes at most.], or [Twenty minutes tops.]
4. You look so tried and sleepy. / Because I was up late watching the soccer game.
5. If you read a novel after seeing a movie of/on the novel, you can't enjoy it enough.
6. If you see the movie after reading the novel the movie is based on, you will be able to enjoy more of [it, the movie].
7. What he wants from you is only a pat on the/his shoulder.
