What is the difference between : Like and Love ?
I wish I knew too! ... 'Love' is such an illusive/elusive concept.. :p
But on a serious note, there is quite a big difference - some would say a world of difference- between the two.
'Love' is considered to be a much stronger emotion and is usually associated with romance and sentiment, while 'like' usually refers to a judgment, a preference for one thing over another.
A summary of the definitions for 'love' found at dictionary.com is..
Love: a profoundly tender, passionate affection; sexual passion or desire; strong predilection, enthusiasm, or liking for anything

While a summary for 'like' would be:
Like: disposed or inclined to; to take pleasure in; find agreeable or congenial; to regard with favor; have a kindly or friendly feeling for; to wish or prefer

Two examples:
I like to work but I love to go to the beach on vacation.
I like to go to the cinema with my aunt but I love to go with my boyfriend!
Is it a little clearer?:)
