Dear Teachers and friends,

a. We wanted to go on vacation to Rome.
- Can I say "in Rome" instead of "to Rome"? Will that change the meaning of the sentence?

b1. Move it!
b2. I'm outta here!
- b1 means "let's go!", right? and b2 means "I gotta go", right? and are these common?

Thanks

To Rome indicates travel from where you are to Rome. In Rome suggests that you might just be in Rome already. But maybe not. It's a little ambiguous. To Rome is more typical, probably for that reason.

Move it! is a command to go. It can be stern. To use it with a friend, you had better have a big smile on your face. :D

I'm outta here! is slang and means I gotta go (also slang), or I am actually leaving as I speak.
