A) heavily B) slightly C) readyly D) fiercely E) remarkably
Which one and why?

Readily (spelled with i) means promptly and willingly. It is your best choice here since it has a meaning opposite of hesitant.

readily is the answer.because it compeltes the meaning of the scentence.the 'but ' used in the scentence gives the clue to answer the question.
