Hi guys,
will you help me find 2 idioms, that i aplly to english from my mother tongue.

1. we say when someone is such a smart ass that always is smart after something hapened wrong.

A literate translation of that idiom from my language would be: "After a fight everybody is a general."

2. we say when someone gives somebody a hard time, always breathes sb's neck and try to make it difficult for you. When somebody obstructs and set you back, etc.

A literate translation from my language would be: "He throws sticks under your feet."

Thank you

In the U.S., it is common to hear, "He's just a Monday morning quarterback." The allusion is to American football; most professional football games are played Sunday afternoon or evening. The quarterback is the one who "calls the play", i.e. chooses what offensive tactics to use at a given time.

Probably the closest idiom is "to put stones in someone's path".

My wife suggested another common "put down" for someone who tries to appear "smart", but only after something has already happened:
- He definitely has 20/20 hindsight.
(A play on the term for perfect vision, "20/20 eyesight".)
