1] How can express a situation when for example a pimple appears on my face...?

"Acne develops on my face..." Is this right???


2] Is This one correct?: "You put on an expression like I was wrong!"
I always try to avoid "like" in sentences but this is the one junction i can think of... Help me...

The tense isn't correct. Try,
- Acne is developing on my face.

It would probably be more common to say,
- I'm getting acne on my face.

I'm sure you will hear this sentence informally. I can't think of a conjunction to replace "like", but I would probably have said,
- You put on an expression that says I was wrong.
- Your expression shows that you think I am/was wrong.
