Do you agree with is?
No tautology.
This is the place where I live.
This is the home where I live.
Tautology.
This is my home where I live.
Do you agree with is?
No tautology.
This is the place where I live.
This is the home where I live.
Tautology.
This is my home where I live.
One meaning of "home" is indeed the house where you live; with that sense, I agree with your analysis.
However, "home" is used in different ways sometimes. It would not be unusual or wrong for someone to say something like,
- New York is the place where I live, but England will always be my home.
In that sense, "home" is the place that you always hope to be able to return to, the place where you will really feel "at home". If someone had just made a statement like that, a person responding with your suggested,
- This is my home where I live.
would not be simply stating a tautology, but rather would be saying something substantive.

Yes, Pete, I'm aware of those meanings, but then the sentence would need a comma. In fact, I think it would need to be or "the" and not "my" if one wanted to express that.
This is my home, where I live. (Live means lead a certain kind of life; live in a certain style or Live means make one's home).
This is the home where I live. (Live means make one's home )
*This is my home where I live.
The sense of home in "this is the home where I live/am living" doesn't need a comma. To me "this is my home where I live" is tautologous because the "home" there is specific.
