I 've some doubts about a sentence:
"The shop has been open since last year".
Is it correct?
I usually say "The shop has been opened since last year".
What is the difference?
Thank you for your attention.

Here's my two cents' worth.

This is correct.
- The shop has been open since last year.

You can say;
- The shop has been opened by his wife since last year. [meaning; His wife opens (the door of) the store everyday.]
